Tunbridge Wells Food Festival

23rd and 24th September

Come and see us at Calverley Grounds between 11 am and 6pm

We will be collecting food donations, selling casino night tickets and raffle tickets.

Dragon Boat Festival 2017

The Nourishers took to the water for the fourth year running for the 20th annual Dragon Boat Race at Bewl Water. We won all 3 of our races and it was a fantastic day out for everyone involved with lots of stalls and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

New funder for 2017-2018

Huge thanks to the Kent Community Foundation and the Kent Reliance Provident Society Fund for awarding us a grant of £4,920 for 2017/2018 as part of the Vulnerable Adults Themed Program.

The funds will pay for our new office rental from July 2017 to End of March 2018 and two desktop PCs.

2016-2017 Official Stats Released

We have published our finalised statistics for 2016-2017

New data shows a sharp rise in the number of people in Tunbridge Wells, south Tonbridge and the surrounding areas who require support. Between April 2016-March 2017, Nourish provided a three-day emergency supply of food to 4,614 people, a 47% rise on the previous financial year. That’s a total of 41,526 meals.

Holiday Hunger

We are asking people across Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge to donate non-perishable food items during the forthcoming school summer holidays, a time when children will miss their free school meals and many families struggle to put food on the table.

One Stop Carriers For Causes Grant

Thank you to One Stop Carriers For Causes who have awarded a grant of £700 to Nourish for 2017/2018. The funds will pay for 2 new laptops and a new printer to enhance our capabilities on the move.

TW Lotto has launched!

You can now support us and other local causes in Tunbridge Wells through the new TW Lotto. The first draw is on 8th July and tickets cost just £1 per week with a top prize of £25k!

50% of the ticket price will go directly to us and 10% to other local causes so get your tickets now!


ShareGift Donation

We have received an amazing donation of £2,500 from ShareGift, a unique charity who specialise in accepting donations of shares and sell them to generate funds which they then give to charities in the UK.

The funds will help local people in crisis in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Kent and the surrounding areas.

Alfresco Festival 2017

TW Scouts St. George's Day Collection

Another fantastic collection from Tunbridge Wells Scouts which was collected on their annual St. George's day celebration at Adamswell Scout Campsite where over 800 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Leaders and Parents all enjoyed a brilliant day.

It was the biggest collection yet from the Scouts with 307.25Kgs all weighed into our unit at Big Yellow.

If you are a Co-op member then you can support us through the Local Community Fund and if not then it is really easy to join up and help support local causes.

New Funder for 2017/2018 - Gatwick Foundation Fund

Thank you to the Gatwick Foundation Fund through Kent Community Foundation who have awarded a grant of £5,000 to Nourish for 2017/2018. The grant will help fund our voucher scheme and also 6 months funding towards our van.

RTWRT Funding for 2017/2018

Huge thanks to the Royal Tunbridge Wells Round Table for choosing to fund Nourish for the second year as part of their generous charity giveaway.

The funds will go towards funding our new large 300sqft unit at Big Yellow Self Storage for 2017/2018.


Lush Charity Pot Party

Huge thanks to everyone who dropped into LUSH in Royal Victoria Place on 25th February 2017 and bought our charity pots at the LUSH Charity Pot Party.

We raised a fab £311.25

Childrensalon Charitable Fund

Nourish Community Foodbank is honoured to be one of the first recipients of a donation from the new Childrensalon charity.

The monthly donation throughout 2017 will enable us to continue to provide emergency food and support to people in need in Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and the surrounding areas.

I, Daniel Blake @ Trinity

Trinity Theatre helped to support Nourish at their showing of I, Daniel Blake on January 22nd at 17:00 with a collection.

We collected a fantastic 175.80Kgs of food!

Advent Reversed

We have finished weighing in our Reverse Advent donations and we have been completely overwhelmed by the  response to our campaign. We collected a staggering 6,057.98Kgs of food and provisions.

Tesco Kick Off Reverse Advent!

Massive thanks to the staff from Tesco Pembury and the 3 Tunbridge Wells Tesco stores who kicked off our Reverse Advent campaign. They held a 3 day collection at Ely Court thanks to a shop donation from Royal Victoria Place.

We collected an amazing £1,782.50 and 3,013.28Kgs food and provisions!!

Casino Night Fundraiser 2016

We had a fantastic night on the 12th November at the High Rocks with a brilliant Auction, Raffle, Casino and live music from The Roccos

We raised a fantastic £6,179.91 which has surpassed all our expectations so thank you to everyone who supported us by coming on the night and of course to everyone who donated prizes.

On the 10th September 2016, The Nourishers took to the waters at Bewl Water to race in the Dragon Boat Festival.

Helping Hands Help Out

Huge thanks to Helping Hands - Tunbridge Wells.

The team, part of the National Citizen Service, organised several collections and events to raise funds and collect food for us.

They raised an amazing £1,688.61 and then spent all the money to help us fill our stock shortfall at our unit!

Nationwide Community Match


Huge thanks to all the Nationwide Building Society customers who nominated and voted for us in the Community Match programme in branches.

We are really happy to have been nominated and to be voted the winning charity for the Southern Counties area.

In total we won a fantastic £600 including £100 for being short listed...

Tesco Collection

Huge thanks to the guys from the Tesco stores in Tunbridge Wells and Pembury for holding a fantastic collection for us at the Victoria Shopping Centre.

Congratulations to TN2 and the Sherwood Partnership who retained their title in the End Hunger Games 2016.

We raised a total of £351.87 so thanks to everyone who took part.

Quiz Night - 21 May 2016
