What The Numbers Mean

The Number of people fed in each year indicates the volume of people given three days' emergency provisions. These are not neccesarily unique beneficiaries.

Please see the chart on each annual breakdown which shows the percentage of beneficiaries that received a certain numbers of bags during each year.

Total meals assume 3 meals a day per person in the household.

What Our Foodbags Cost

Our bags contain three days' emergency food. We have priced our foodbag contents from an average price on the same day from Asda, Sainsburys and Tesco online stores. It is an average of label brands and supermarket own brands. The latest prices were taken in January 2017.
