Digitom produce films to tell the Nourish Story

Digitom produce films to tell the Nourish Story

Local award-winning broadcasters, story tellers and film makers, Digitom, has appointed Nourish Community Foodbank as their charity of the year. The team will be supporting Nourish with fundraising support, brand awareness and the incredible offer of some gift in kind expertise.

At Nourish we struggle to tell the story of our service users in a compelling way due to constraints around anonymity, but with 25 years expertise of creating broadcast and branded content for some very ambitious clients, we knew that the team at Digitom would rise to the challenge.

"For the second consecutive year, as part of our corporate social responsibility, we have decided to show our support for Nourish Community Food Bank, volunteering our services to produce a series of campaign videos for the charity. I’m really pleased that we can support another worthy cause this year and help create a campaign that will hopefully make a difference. I’m not sure why a developed country has seen such a large growth in the demand for food banks the last decade, but I hope we can do some good to help those in need.” said Founder & Creative Director Tom Chown.

Each anonymous film is based upon a true story, with a voiceover sharing their experiences and filmed at the Nourish warehouse in Kingstanding Way. Operations Director Dawn Stanford, BEM said.

“Nourish Community Foodbank simply couldn’t do what we do without the support of our local community. The effort that the team at Digitom put into producing these videos has been remarkable. They came and spent time with us to really get under the skin of what our service users go through and to hear the true stories featured in these three campaigns. The videos they have produced for us will shine a light on the reality of living in food crisis and we are so grateful for their help. ”

The subtitled pieces of content will be shared across social media and at events to help raise awareness of the charity.
