We are delighted to announce a fantastic group of chefs lined up to go head-to-head in our Ready Steady Cook for Nourish 2025!

Taking place on Sunday 2 November, The eventwill feature five top local chefs and our wildcard auction bid winner who will share the stage with them, battling it out to cook the most nutritious meals they can, using only the contents of a typical food parcel from Nourish Community Foodbank.

Compered by Dan Hatton from Hattons, the chefs competing this year will be: Scott Goss from The Beacon, Kuldeep Singh from Essence by Atul Kochhar, Robin Read from The Counter, Patrick Hill from Thackerays and Steve Anderson from Sankeys, The Old Fishmarket and our wildcard! Who will be crowned winner and take away the coveted Ready Steady Cook Trophy?  The event is fun and frantic, the audience get to vote, the VIP judges get to taste and the competition between the chefs is palpable …. it promises to be a special evening with all proceeds going directly to help people in our local community.
