Thank you so much to everyone who joined us at Trinity Theatre on Sunday 2 November, and those who bid and won auction lots – what an incredible night! We were blown away by the generosity of the audience. The main aim of the night was to raise money and awareness of Nourish. Final numbers are still to be confirmed but it looks as if we raised just under £5000.

The success of the night was down to the creativity, comedy and camaraderie between six chefs – five pros from top local restaurants, and wildcard Kristele, who donated money to take part. An audience of over 200 watched them compete against each other to create mouth-watering, nutritious dishes using only the contents of a typical Nourish food parcel.

Our sincere thanks go to our wonderful comperes, Dan Hatton and Bibi Roy, our sponsor Lettology, and to our incredible VIP Judges, made up of some of our Business Supporter’s Club Members. We are forever indebted to our chefs, who gave their precious time so generously. So, to Scott Goss from The Beacon, Kuldeep Singh from Essence by Atul Kochhar, Patrick Hill from Thackeray’s, Steve Anderson from Sankey’s – The Old Fishmarket and our incredible WINNER, Robin Read from The Counter, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The event was not only an enjoyable night out and a successful fundraiser, but just as critically, it gave us the opportunity to explain who Nourish are, the diversity of people that we support, and how we simply couldn’t do what we do without the donations and time that you, our wonderful community, donate.
